This course is designed to prepare healthcare providers to evaluate the appropriate use of medication in older adults. The course will focus on the pharmacotherapy used to treat diseases and conditions in older adults with an emphasis on physiologic changes of aging and how these changes impact medication use in the elderly.

This course examines the root causes of disparities in diagnosis and treatment of ADRD and identifies institutional interventions and community-based approaches to promote early detection and foster equitable care for diverse populations.
