Welcome to the DC School
Health Training Platform
The District of Columbia School Health Services Program (SHSP) aims to bridge the gap between health and learning by supporting over 80,000 students in more than 200 District of Columbia Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools. School health suites staffed by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Student Health Technicians collaborate with families, school staff, and other health providers to provide basic health services and ensure student health needs are met during the school day.

Administration of Medication (AOM) Training
This training equips school nurses and authorized school staff with the essential knowledge and skills to safely recognize, respond to, and manage common medical conditions and medication protocols in the school setting.
Courses
If you are new to the Administration of Medication (AOM) program, please begin by completing the AOM course modules. Once all modules are completed, you will be prompted to take the final exam.
To pass, you must score at least 80%. After passing the exam, you will be directed to register for an in-person skills check. Upon successful completion of the skills check, you will receive your certificate of completion the same day.
